On the morning of May 24th, SDUT held opening ceremony of achievements in creative transformation and innovative development of fine traditional Chinese cultureand YIN Gan Art Museum at the North Square of Yifu Library. The exhibition and the museum aimed to further the study and implement XI Jinping thought on culture, demonstrate profound humanistic foundations, strengthen cultural confidence, undertake historical missions, and cultivate talents for the new era.
YIN Gan, Master of Chinese Ceramic and Art, founder of SDUT’s College of Fine Arts; LIN Heng, Member of the Standing Committee of Zibo Municipal Committee, Minister of the Propaganda Department, and Secretary of the Education Work Committee; HU Xingyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. YU Shuangsheng, Deputy Director of Zibo Municipal Propaganda Department; SONG Aixiang, Director of Zibo Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; TANG Haijun, Director of Zibo Municipal Center for Traditional Industry Development; DING Decui, Deputy Director of Zibo Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; HOU Benbing, Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of Zibo Museum Administration and Director of Zibo Ceramic and Glass Museum; YIN Shujian, Chairman of Shandong Guiyuan Advanced Ceramics Co., Ltd.; SU Tongqiang, Chairman of Zibo Huaguang National Porcelain Science and Technology and Culture Co., Ltd.; DENG Changliang, Deputy Secretary of SDUT’s Party Committee, and others also attended the ceremony. Renowned masters in the fields of ceramics, photography, and painting, personnel from well-known enterprises in related industries of Zibo and Zibo Vocational College, officials from relevant departments and colleges of SDUT, and representatives of teachers and students presented at the ceremony.

HU Xingyu delivered a speech on behalf of SDUT and gave a brief introduction to SDUT. He emphasized that SDUT has always placed great importance on the creative transformation and innovative development of fine traditional Chinese culture, rooted in the fertile soil of Qilu culture, and established a cultural system with unique characteristics, and has achieved a series of accomplishments. Mr. YIN donated his art masterpieces created over the years to SDUT, which embodies the spiritual qualities of SDUT, “responding to the Party's call, struggle hard, love education and honor the school, overcome difficulties, innovate and reform, and pursue dreams steadfast.” SDUT will take this opportunity to consciously shoulder the cultural mission of the new era, root itself in the fertile soil of Zibo Qilu culture, integrate culture into education, propel itself towards the ranks of high-level institutions through strong ideological support, spiritual strength, and fine cultural environment, and make greater contributions to the construction of Zibo as a flourishing city in the new era.
YIN Gan, fondly recollected his work and teaching experiences, stating that although life is fleeting, one must not live in vain. He explained that by donating artistic creations accumulated over the years, he hoped to contribute to SDUT’s culture, aesthetic education, and talent cultivation, making a positive impact on society and nation. He hoped that viewers can perceive beauty of art and life through these works.
At the ceremony, DENG Changliang, representing SDUT, signed a donation agreement with YIN Gan and presented him with a donation plaque. LIU Xingqing, Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, signed an agreement with SONG Aixiang for the joint establishment of the YIN Gan Art Museum.
YIN Gan, LIN Heng, HU Xingyu, LI Yuxia, SONG Aixiang, TANG Haijun, YIN Shujian, and SU Tongqiang jointly inaugurated the exhibition of achievement in creative transformation and innovative development of fine traditional Chinese culture and YIN Gan Art Museum.
After the ceremony, the leaders and distinguished guests proceeded to visit the exhibition and YIN Gan Art Museum.
Before the ceremony, people attending the ceremony watched videos relating to the exhibition and the museum, and enjoyed performances Jin Wen Gu Zhe and Jiang Gui Cao, which were selected from Shandong Cultural Innovation Award Project.
It is reported that both the exhibition and the Museum are located on the east side of the basement of the Yifu Library in SDUT. The exhibition features over 14,000 words of text, more than 100 pictures, over 300 publications, and over a hundred pieces of cultural and creative works. The YIN Gan Art Museum displays a total of 626 exquisite artworks, consisting of 499 sets of glassware, silk textiles, paintings, calligraphy, and so on.
